Some of my favorite memories are in black and white. There is something so special and nostalgic about a photograph in black and white. Sometimes it’s hard to decipher what era it may have been taken in, and you can just study the connections of the individuals photographed. You might wonder what that moment was like, what was really happening. In traditional interiors, you will often see black and white photos framed in a home. It’s art, no doubt. And I am a firm believer that every mom needs a photo framed on her bedside, of her and her children, in black and white. Aside from the fact that it will personalize your space, what better way to end the day than by laying your head on your pillow and being reminded of your blessings? Our greatest gifts. This is why I started the Motherhood B+W Beach Minis. I wanted you to be in the photos with your children (for a change) and have something tangible to walk away with- not just another session where your images are soon a distant memory and buried in your iphone album.
